BUBBLE AND SQUEAK | |
1 onion, diced 4 to 6 med. potatoes, sliced thin 1/2 to 1 head cabbage 1 lb. ground sausage 1/3 c. vinegar Saute onion and sausage together. (An iron skillet works best.) Add potatoes and cook over low heat until potatoes are halfway done. Wash and chop cabbage; drain slightly. Add to mixture; cook until cabbage is wilted and potatoes are done. Stir in vinegar. Cook a few minutes longer until flavors blend. (Best served right from skillet, too!) |
