CHOCOLATE REFRIGERATOR CAKE 
1 box vanilla wafers
4 oz. chocolate
1 tbsp. cold water
1 tsp. unflavored gelatin
1/4 c. hot water
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
4 or 5 separated eggs
2 c. whipped cream

Soften gelatin in cool water to chocolate. Add sugar, salt, hot water. Blend. Add gelatin. Blend. Add to beaten yolks, cool 2 minutes. Add vanilla. Cool, fold in stiffly beaten whites. Chill. Use 1 cup cream, whip and fold in. Use 36 wafers. Line bottom and sides of mold. Cover bottom and sides of mold. Cover bottom with chocolate mix. Then alternate cookie and chocolate. Chill 12 hours and ice with 1 cup whipped cream.
