LEMON BARS DELUXE 
2 1/4 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 c. butter
4 beaten eggs
2 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Sift together the sifted flour and powdered sugar. Cut in butter until clings together. Press in 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.

Beat together the eggs, granulated sugar and lemon juice. Sift the 1/4 cup of flour and baking powder; stir into egg mixture. Pour over baked crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Cool; cut into bars. Makes about 30.
