2 c. all purpose flour
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. all purpose flour
4 eggs, beaten
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Sift together the 2 cups flour and the confectioners sugar. Cut in butter until mixture clings together. Press into 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes until lightly browned. Beat together eggs, granulated sugar and lemon juice. Sift together the 1/4 cup of flour and baking powder. Stir into egg mixture. Pour over baked crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with additional confectioners sugar. Cool and cut into bars. Makes about 30.
