ITALIAN MEAT SAUCE 
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
2 stalks celery with tops
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 cloves garlic
1 (14 oz.) can tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
2 tsp. oregano leaves
1/4 tsp. thyme leave
1 bay leaf

Put all ingredients in crock pot, stir thoroughly. Cover and cook on low 10 to 12 hours.
