FRENCH BREAD CHIPS 
1 (16 oz.) loaf French bread
1 c. butter, melted
2 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Using electric knife slice into 1/8 inch slices. Make about 1 inch to 2 1/2 inches long. Place slices in a large mixing bowl. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Pour butter mixture over slices. Toss well to combine. Spread on lightly greased baking pan. Stir occasionally. Bake 40 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. Yield: 9 cups of chips.
