SALMON SOUR CREAM BAKE 
2 (8 oz.) fresh or frozen salmon steaks, 1 inch thick
1/4 c. sour cream
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. sliced green onion
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash ground red pepper
1/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Thaw salmon, if frozen. Halve steaks lengthwise, perpendicular to cutting surface removing center bone. Place the 4 steaks in 10 x 6 x 2 inch baking dish. Bake uncovered, in 450 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes, just until fish flakes. Meanwhile, blend sour cream, mayonnaise, green onion, lemon juice, salt and red pepper. Spoon over salmon. Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake 3 to 5 minutes more, until sauce is heated through. Makes 4 servings.
