2 c. sugar
1/2 c. canned milk
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/4 c. Karo syrup (white)
1 stick butter
Dash of salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all and bring to rolling boil - cook 1 minute. Beat until creamy. Add nuts if desired.
