CREAMY FRENCH ICING 
2 tbsp. water
4 1/2 tbsp. granulated sugar
2 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. Crisco
1/3 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Boil the water and powdered sugar to make a syrup. Cool. Cream remaining ingredients. Add syrup and beat well.
