Cook onions in hot oil, until soft. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 15 minutes. Brush chicken with sauce.

For two fryers put oven at 500 degrees. Brown chicken first. When brown turn oven to low. Then base with sauce. Low flame so it doesn't burn.

Whisk all ingredients together. Pour over chicken - coat and put on the grill.

Shake all ingredients in a shaker bottle and over chicken while barbecuing.
