(I double this.) Simmer corned beef and seasonings (or carrot, onion, celery, garlic, pepper corns) in crock pot or Dutch oven for 4 to 6 hours in just enough ... until glaze is brown.
This can be a one ... salt and pepper to taste. Add just enough water ... well and place corned beef on top of cabbage, leaving ... serve. Excellent with corn bread. Oh, I forgot to ... instead of boil it.
