COCONUT MACAROONS 
1 1/3 c. Baker's angel flake coconut
1/3 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
2 egg whites
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. almond extract
Candied cherry halves

Combine coconut, sugar, flour and salt in bowl. Stir in egg white and almond extract. Mix well. Drop from teaspoon onto lightly greased baking sheets. Add cherry halves. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Edges will be browned. Remove from sheets immediately. Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
