SEAFOOD CHOWDER | |
3/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced 1 1/4 c. fresh onions, chopped 2 tbsp. butter 1 lg. clove garlic 1 can cream of celery soup 2 cans Cheddar cheese soup 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. white wine 30 oz. seafood (prawns, scallops, sole - or whatever you like) Brown onions, mushrooms in garlic and butter until tender. Add soups. Slowly add wine and water. Add seafood and bring to a boil. Simmer for 10 minutes. Better if made and then reheated. |
