DARK SWEET FRUITCAKE 
1 egg
1 c. water
1 pkg. Pillsbury date or nut bread mix
1 c. chopped or halved pecans or walnuts
1 c. raisins
1 (6 to 6 1/2 oz.) c. candied cherries
1/2 c. candied pineapple, cut in wedges

Grease well and flour bottom and sides of 8 x 4 inch loaf pan. In large bowl combine egg and water. Add remaining ingredients; by hand, stir until combined. Pour into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 70-80 minutes as directed for pan size until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan for 15 minutes. Loosen edges and remove from pan. Cool completely. To store, wrap tightly in foil or plastic wrap. Store in refrigerator.
