FRENCH BREAD SPREAD 
2 sticks butter, softened
2 tbsp. minced onion
1 tsp. mustard
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. poppy seed
1 tsp. seasoned salt (orange-Lawry's)
16 slices Kraft Swiss cheese
1 loaf French bread

Mix all of the ingredients except the cheese and bread. Cut bread in 1 inch slices, almost through. Spread the mixture on each side of the sliced bread to cover. Put 1/2 slice of cheese in each opening. Spread the remaining mixture over the top of the bread. Wrap in heavy tin foil (double wrap regular tin foil). Slit 1 inch at top of foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

Make sure when you slice the bread you don't slice completely through the bread.
