1 1/2 c. unsifted flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. mayonnaise
3 tbsp. milk
1 egg
1/2 c. raisins
1 tsp. baking powder
3 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cloves
1 1/2 c. peeled and chopped apples
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Combine first 10 ingredients. Blend well. Stir in apples and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees in greased and floured 8 inch pan for 35 to 40 minutes.

FROSTING:

2 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. butter, softened
1 c. powdered sugar

Add milk, 1 teaspoon at a time, until frosting is smooth.
