SAUSAGE BISCUIT BITES | |
3/4 lb. hot bulk sausage 2 2/3 c. flour 2 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. shortening 1 pkg. dry yeast 1/4 c. warm water 1 c. buttermilk 1/4 c. melted butter Cook sausage and brown. Drain. Make dough. Roll and knead in sausage. Turn dough out and knead lightly. Roll dough 1/2" thickness. Cut out and place on ungreased sheet. Brush top with butter. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Biscuits can be frozen. |
