RHUBARB COBBLER 
3 c. rhubarb
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk

Cut rhubarb in small pieces. Arrange in 7 1/2 x 12 inch pan. Cover with sugar; dot with butter. Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and beat. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add alternately with milk. Place on top of rhubarb. Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve with Half & Half.
