HOMEMADE BISCUIT MIX 
8 c. sifted flour
1 c. dry skim milk
2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. baking powder
2 c. white vegetable shortening

Sift flour, dry milk, salt and baking powder into medium size bowl. Cut in shortening with pastry blender or two knifes until mixture is the texture of cornmeal. Store in covered container in cool, dry place. Use the same as commercial mix.
