ESTOFADO DE POLLO 
1 med. chicken, cut into 6 pieces
Cooking oil
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (3 oz.) can tomato paste
1/2 c. peas
3/4 c. sauterne
1/2 c. diced carrots
1/4 c. raisins
6 boiled sm. potatoes

In a medium pot, brown chicken pieces in cooking oil, then remove. Saute onions and garlic. Add tomato paste, sauterne, salt, pepper, raisins, peas, and carrots and mix well. Place chicken pieces on top, cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until meat is done. Add boiled potatoes. Serve with rice. Serves 6.
