LASAGNA 
1 lb. ground beef
3 oz. pepperoni, sliced into semi-circles
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 can mushrooms
1 can tomatoes
1 can tomato paste
Oregano
Garlic salt
Pepper
Basil
Water
8 oz. lasagna noodles
2 eggs
1 carton ricotta cheese
6 c. grated mozzarella
1 pkg. sliced mozzarella cheese (6 slices)

Brown ground beef with onion and pepperoni. Drain grease. Add mushrooms, tomatoes, tomato paste and spices to taste. Add water. Simmer on low in saucepan or crock pot 4-6 hours (overnight in crock pot on low works best).

Mix together eggs and ricotta in separate bowl.

Layer in greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan (or larger) : 1/3 of sauce, 1/2 of noodles, 1/3 of sauce, 1/2 of ricotta and egg mixture, 3 cups grated mozzarella. Then remaining noodles, remaining sauce, remaining egg and ricotta mixture and 3 cups grated mozzarella. Top with sliced mozzarella. Bake 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Top with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
