BEAN-CHEESE PIE 
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk
1 egg, slightly beaten

15 oz. red kidney beans 8 oz. can tomato sauce 1 sm. green pepper, chopped 1 sm. red pepper, chopped 1 sm. onion, chopped 2 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. oregano 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease pie plate. Mix flour, cheese, baking powder, and salt together. Add eggs and milk until blended. Spread over bottom of pie plate and up the sides. Mix all beans, sauce, peppers, onion, chili powder, garlic, oregano and 1/2 cup cheddar cheese. Spoon into pie plate. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool 10 minutes before serving.
