EASY ALMOND CREAM COFFEE CAKE 
1 loaf frozen sweet dough, thawed as directed
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. heavy cream
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. almond slices
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Place dough in greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Pat out dough to fit pan. In saucepan, combine sugar and flour. Add cream gradually, then butter and almonds. Boil together 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add almond extract. Pour over dough in pan. Let rise in warm place until nearly doubled, approximately 1 to 2 hours. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into squares and serve warm.
