CROCK-POT BAKED BEANS | |
1/4 lb. bacon 1 onion 1 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. white vinegar 2 large cans pork and beans 1 large can lima beans 1 large can butter beans 1 large can kidney beans Other beans may be substituted. Fry out bacon. Remove from pan. Sauté chopped onion in 2 tablespoons bacon fat. Stir in brown sugar and vinegar. Simmer 5 minutes. Drain all beans, except pork and beans. Place in crock-pot. Pour cooked mixture over beans. Cover. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. |
