MEXICAN TACO DIP 
8 oz. cream cheese (can be light)
8 oz. sour cream (can be light)
8 oz. taco sauce (as hot as you like it)
Dash of garlic salt
Lettuce, chopped
Tomato, chopped
Onion, chopped
Cheese, grated (I use Cheddar)
Plain tortilla chips

Mix cream cheese, sour cream and garlic salt and spread on round platter. Pour taco sauce on top and spread evenly. Layer lettuce, tomato, onion and cheese in that order. Serve with tortilla chips.

This is such a hit that we serve it for just about every occasion.
