STRAWBERRY CAKE DESSERT | |
1 (18 1/4 oz.) box white cake mix 1/2 c. cooking oil 3 eggs 1 c. powdered sugar 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello (dry) 1/2 c. cold water 2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen strawberries, thawed Beat cake mix, dry Jello, oil, water, eggs and 1 package strawberries, including juice, together. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes. While cake is still warm, mix the following: powdered sugar and remaining package strawberries, including juice. Run a knife around the sides of cake and poke holes in top of cake with a toothpick so topping will soak into cake. Spread topping on cake. Cool and cut into 15 to 18 squares for serving. Top with whipped cream or Cool Whip. |
