PICKLED PEACHES 
2 lb. sugar
2 c. vinegar
2 tbsp. whole cloves
2 sticks cinnamon
4 qt. peaches, peeled
Canning jars

Boil sugar, vinegar and spices for 20 minutes. Drop peeled fruit in. Cook until tender. Pack in hot sterilized jars, adding syrup to 1/2 from the top of the jars; seal. Yields 4 quarts.
