GINGER BEEF 
1 1/2 lb. round steak/stewing beef
1 tbsp. fat or oil
1 env. brown gravy mix
1 1/2 c. water
1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp. white wine vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. ginger

Cut meat in one inch squares. Brown meat in fat. Add gravy mix, water and remaining ingredients. Simmer for two hours on stove. Serve over hot buttered noodles.
