FRIED APPLES 
5 to 6 Jonathan apples
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
Cinnamon
1/3 c. water

Thinly slice unpeeled apples. In frying pan melt butter; add apples. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon; add water. Cover and let steam until tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Remove lid to allow water to thicken to a syrup. This is a nice side dish with pork.
