CRANBERRY FRUIT SALAD 
1 qt. fresh cranberries
2 lg. apples
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 sm. boxes raspberry Jello
3 c. water
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. diced celery

Cut cranberries in quarters or chop coarsely. Dice apples into small pieces. Add sugar and let mixture stay in refrigerator overnight.

Next morning prepare 2 packages of gelatin (Jello) using 3 cups of water instead of 4 (dissolve in 1 1/2 cups boiling water and add 1 1/2 cups cold water). Stir in cranberries, apple mixture. Chill until beginning to set.

Stir in celery and nuts. Let set. The longer this stands the better is gets. Its a very old recipe.
