2 c. dried apples
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 c. raisins
1 c. molasses
1 c. milk
Nutmeg & cinnamon to taste

Soak apples in water to make soft. Chop apples fine. Boil apples in molasses 15 minutes. Dissolve soda in a little hot water. Add soda to apples when cool.

Mix all other ingredients and pour in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Put applesauce on top while hot.
