MASHED POTATO CASSEROLE 
Peel 8 large baking potatoes (4 1/2 - 5 pounds) and cook in 1 inch boiling water until tender and done. Drain and mash.

Beat together 8 ounce package cream cheese and 1 cup sour cream. Beat into mashed potatoes until smooth. Beat in 2 tablespoons garlic salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.

Turn into buttered, shallow 3-4 quart casserole. Dot with 4 tablespoons butter. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover and chill up to 3 days. Cover and bake at 400 degrees for 50-60 minutes. Serves 12-15.
