1 vanilla bran
1 c. vodka

Take scissors and cut vanilla bean in half to expose seeds. Put alcohol in a bottle with a tight fitting cap. Add split vanilla bean and shake. Let sit for at least 2 months before using. The longer it sits the better it will be.

This is pure extract. In supermarket it contains water, alcohol, corn syrup, caramel coloring and vanilla bean. 1 cup.
