STRAWBERRY JELLO SALAD | |
1 sm. strawberry Jello 1 med. size fruit cocktail 1 (8 oz.) size whipped topping (Cool Whip) 1 c. chopped nuts (pecans) Mix 1 cup boiling water with Jello. Dump in fruit cocktail. Put in refrigerator; when it starts to jell, fold in Cool Whip and nuts. Return to refrigerator to firm-up. Serve as salad or dessert. NOTE: I pour the mixture into a pan (8 x 8 inch) and cut into squares. To serve as a salad on lettuce with mayonnaise; or put in dessert dishes with extra Cool Whip for dessert. |
