CRANBERRY SWIRL COFFEE CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 pt. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. almond
1 (7 oz.) can whole cranberry sauce
1/2 c. crushed nuts

Cream butter, add sugar gradually. Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time, using mixer at medium speed. Reduce speed and add sifted dry ingredients. Alternate with sour cream, ending with dry ingredients. Add flavoring. Grease 9 inch tube pan. Put a layer of batter in bottom of pan then a layer of cranberry sauce. Repeat until tube pan is filled. Sprinkle crushed nuts on top.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 minutes. Remove from pan after cooling for 10 minutes.

GLAZE:

3/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
