RANGE FIRE DIP 
2 c. refried beans or 1 (17 oz.) can refried beans
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter
2 canned jalapeno peppers
Finely chopped or 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies
1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c. Monterey Jack cheese

Saute onion in butter. Add beans and chilies. Stir frequently over low heat until hot and bubbly. Just before serving, add cheeses. Makes 2 cups of dip.
