BARBECUED CHICKEN | |
4 (10 oz.) skinned chicken pieces 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 tsp. curry powder 1/2 c. tomato puree 1/2 tsp. onion salt 1/4 c. buttermilk 1 tbsp. prepared mustard Sprinkle chicken pieces on all sides with mixture of salt, paprika, pepper, garlic powder, curry powder, and onion salt. Cover; let stand at room temperature 30 minutes. Combine tomato puree, buttermilk, and mustard. Place chicken on rack on pan; spoon half the sauce mixture evenly over chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Turn chicken evenly; spoon on remaining sauce. Bake 20 minutes longer or until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Makes 4. |
