MEXICAN CORN BREAD 
1 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
1 c. whole corn
1 jalapeno pepper, deseeded and chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 egg
3/4 c. buttermilk
3 tbsp. oil

Put oil in skillet with small amount of corn meal and get hot. Pour some of the hot oil into the bread mix. Mix well and pour into skillet.

Bake at 350°F until golden brown.
