IRISH BREAD 
2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 pkg. raisins
2 c. hot water
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Bring to a boil shortening, raisins, salt and sugar. Let cool. Sift in mixture.

Bake at 375°F for about 1 hour or until done.
