MAMA'S POT ROAST | |
3 or 4 lbs. chuck roast 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 1 tsp. salt Water Brown broth sides of roast, in oil, in pot, over medium high heat. Add salt and water to pot to half-cover roast. Cover and cook on slow heat until roast is tender. Add more water, periodically, if needed to keep roast from drying out. Serves 8. |
