DEEP DISH PIZZA 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

SAUCE:

1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
Diced onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. Italian herb seasoning

Bring all ingredients to a boil and simmer 20 minutes. (You won't use all the sauce, but can freeze it.)

Thaw 1 loaf frozen bread dough and let rise according to package directions. Shape into crust in greased 9 x 12 inch pan. Add cheese (I use approximately 12-16 ounces shredded Mozzarella and sprinkle on some Romano and-or Parmesan). Sprinkle on 1/2 pound browned ground beef (and pepperoni, if you wish). Sprinkle with fennel seed. Add sliced mushrooms, green pepper, onions, black olives, etc. Top with dollops of sauce and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
