PEANUT BRITTLE (Microwave) 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
Dash salt
2 c. raw peanuts (cashews, almonds, etc.)
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Place sugar, corn syrup, water, salt and nuts in 2 quart microproof bowl. Cook on High 5 minutes then stir. Cook on High 13-15 minutes or until syrup separates into threads. (Hard crack stage or 300 degrees on candy thermometer.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
