CHOCOLATE SCOTCHEROOS BAR
COOKIES
 
1 c. granulated sugar
1 c. light corn syrup

Bring above ingredients to boil in 3-quart pan; remove form heat. Blend in 1 cup peanut butter, then add 6 cups Rice Krispies. Press into buttered 3x13 pan.

Icing, if desired: Melt over hot, not boiling, water a 6-ounce package semi-sweet chocolate morsels and 6-ounces butterscotch morsels. Spread over top and chill until firm. Yield: 48 bars 1x2 inches.
