CRACKER JACKS 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
6 tbsp. corn syrup
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. baking soda
15 c. popcorn, popped
2 c. peanuts, roasted

Combine brown sugar, corn syrup and butter in saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil 5 minutes - watch. Remove from heat and add vanilla and soda. Stir well - dribble over popcorn, stirring constantly. Add peanuts. Stir.

Put in 2 large pans and bake in 200 degree oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely and store in airtight container.
