PUMPKIN BARS 
4 eggs
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 c. Puritan oil
1 (#2) can pumpkin
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. salt
Frosting (recipe follows)

In electric mixer beat together eggs, sugar, oil and pumpkin until light and fluffy. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and all spices together. Fold the two mixtures together and stir until well mixed.

Pour into greased 10x15 inch pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Cool completely and then frost with the following.

FROSTING FOR PUMPKIN BARS:

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
6 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar

Beat until smooth. Spread on cooled cake. Nuts may be sprinkled on top of cake if desired.
