2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 c. Coca Cola
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 tbsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sm. marshmallows
Coca Cola Frosting (see next recipe)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift sugar and flour into mixing bowl; set aside.

In a saucepan, blend Coca Cola, butter, shortening and cocoa; bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add to flour mixture. Add eggs and beat with milk until blended. Add buttermilk, baking soda, vanilla, and marshmallows. Mix well. bake in a greased 13 x 9 inch pan, 40 minutes. Spread frosting on warm cake. Cut into squares.
