VIDALIA ONION CASSEROLE 
4 med. Vidalia onions, chopped
12 saltine crackers, crushed
1 stick butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. milk
2 c. sharp cheese, shredded

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter and saute onions. Butter casserole dish and line with crackers. Add onions and soup in layers until full. Beat eggs, add milk and pour over casserole. Top with cheese. Bake until brown and bubbly.
