CHERRY COFFEE CAKE BARS 
1 c. butter
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cherry or blueberry pie filling

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Blend in rest of ingredients, except pie filling. Put 2/3 of this batter in a 10 x 15 inch pan. Spread the can of pie filling over the batter. Drop the remaining dough by teaspoons over the top of the filling. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

GLAZE:

1 c. powdered sugar
1 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. milk

Pour this over cooled bars.
