FROSTING FOR COCONUT CAKE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
3/4 c. miniature marshmallows
1 tbsp. vinegar
3 tbsp. white syrup

Bring to boil sugar, water and vinegar, then add syrup. Let boil until spins a thread. Pour slowly over 2 egg whites, beaten stiff with 1/2 cup sugar beaten in and marshmallows.
