DAY BEFORE PEA SALAD | |
1 lg. head lettuce in pieces 1 c. chopped celery 1/2 green pepper, chopped 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 box frozen peas, drained 1 1/4 c. Miracle Whip 2 tsp. sugar 1/2 to 1 c. Parmesan cheese 1/2 to 1 lb. cooked bacon, crumbled Layer first 5 ingredients in order. Mix Miracle Whip and sugar and spread over top of other ingredients. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese liberally over top. Cover tightly and refrigerate all day or overnight. When ready to serve, mix well and add crumbled bacon. Serves 10. |
